Stormwater Management
Stormwater management keeps a new parking lot, building, or neighborhood from sending more water downstream, faster, than the land did before. We design detention and retention ponds, storm sewers, and drainage systems, and prepare the stormwater management plans that local ordinances and the DNR require.

Frequently asked questions
Does my project need a stormwater plan?
It depends on how much land you disturb, how much hard surface you add, and your local ordinance. We'll confirm early.
What is a maintenance agreement?
A recorded agreement that keeps the property owner responsible for maintaining the pond or other stormwater facility over the long term. Many municipalities require one.
Do you design green infrastructure?
Yes. Rain gardens, bioretention, and infiltration practices are often part of meeting water quality requirements.
