Lot Line Adjustments
A lot line adjustment moves the boundary between two existing parcels, without creating any new lots. Neighbors use it to fix a garage that sits over the line, to square up an odd-shaped yard, or to transfer a strip of land.
How it's done depends on the community. Some handle it with a Certified Survey Map, others with a simpler survey and deeds. We'll check the local rules and tell you which path applies.

Frequently asked questions
Do both owners have to agree?
Yes. Both owners sign off, and new deeds are usually recorded to complete the transfer.
Do I need municipal approval?
Often, yes, especially where a CSM is required. We'll check your community's rules before we start.
Will my property taxes change?
Possibly, since the parcel sizes change. The assessor updates the records once the new deeds are recorded.
